• Connect the multimeter and ensure the crank position is working properly
• If the crank position sensor has a problem, replace it to eliminate the issue

If you have an old or damaged key, you may experience that problem. You have entered the key, but it won’t turn. Until the key turns, you cannot get a spark and start the vehicle. So to get your Chevy Silverado start, you must eliminate the problem.

Solution 2:

Generally key has a pair; you can use the duplicate key by replacing the damaged or old key. If the key is okay, then follow the easy steps below to solve the problem.

• First, Use a Vacuum pump to suck out the residuals from the ignition switch.
